Meet Mario

I have worked with men and women at different life stages, navigating a broad range of challenges. Some clients come with a specific concern; others arrive with a general sense that something needs to shift.

My approach is person-centred and informed by Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Together, we focus on understanding what has been happening, exploring patterns that may have developed, and identifying practical, values-driven steps forward.

I draw on experience in crisis intervention and Alcohol and Other Drug services, as well as more than a decade working with children and families. My work is strengths-based, trauma-informed and non-judgemental.

As an immigrant, father and someone who has navigated significant adversity, I aim to bring both professional knowledge and real-world perspective to counselling, creating a calm, thoughtful space where meaningful progress can occur.

I hold a Bachelor of Counselling and am a Level 2 member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). I continue to build on my skills through ongoing professional development and clinical supervision.

I also run workshops for fathers of children aged 0-3 years through Beer + Bubs in Canberra.
